Our GuaranteeGrout Rescue takes great pride in the work that we do. When we finish a job we want to meet or exceed your expectations. In other words, we want to be sure you are happy with the final results of the job. That means we want to be sure we did everything we promised to do on our work order and that it looks the way it should. If you aren't happy, please let us know.
With that in mind, we offer a 30 day guarantee on our work*. If you have an issue with the quality of the work done, please give us a call and we will come back and take a look at any cracks, or other issues and repair anything that wasn't done right. We have found that 30 days is a more than reasonable amount of time for you to determine if we did the job right. *Please note that we offer no guarantee on cleaning and sealing. Why? Because we can't control these two things - too much relies on how you care your your shower, bath or tile. But on grout work. tile installation, caulking, etc. we give you 30 days to make sure things were done right and if you don't think they were we will come back and take a look. You can help us out by making sure that your shower is ready for us to come and do the work you need done. Make sure that the bathroom is dry. If possible, don't use the shower for 3 or 4 days prior to having the work done. Dry walls and floors help make sure the work will be done right. And once the job is done, we need your help to make sure that the work you have had us do stays looking good for as long as possible. Please make sure you follow instructions on how long to wait until you use your shower again. Tile, grout, and caulk, especially in a bathroom, needs to be cleaned regularly. And it needs to be cleaned properly. Cleaners with bleach and other toxic chemicals will break down the integrity of the grout and caulk in your bathroom. Use non-abrasive powders and use a firm, plastic bristle brush that won't scratch your surfaces. The problems won't happen instantly, but they will happen, and you won't like the results. Part of the maintenance required to keep a newly caulked or grouted bathroom looking good is regularly removing moisture/humidity. Be sure to turn on the overhead fan when you take a bath or shower and let it run until the room is clear. Make sure the fan is working properly and isn't' clogged so it can work properly. Dry down the walls. Don't leave standing water on shelves and racks. Clean the drain trap of collected hair so that there is no standing water in your tub during and after your shower. Trapped moisture and standing water can eventually wear down your caulk and grout, especially if the moisture leads to mold growth. And we don't mean just the dark, black/green mold. Light pinkish, orange mold can also show up in your shower and tub and that too works to break down caulk and grout. Not only will it eat away at the grout, it will cause unsightly staining as well. Proper treatment of the bath/shower is important to keeping it looking good. Don't use the soap dish as a grab bar when getting in and out of the tub. We recommend you never use it as a foot rest for shaving your legs. It isn't meant to take weight. Rubber toys are great for kids to play with in the tub, but keep those toy cars in the playroom. They can scratch and chip porcelain tubs and tile. Don't hang things from the shower head. It causes undue stress on the fixture. We also don't recommend hanging face towels and wash cloths on the walls of the shower because they tend to trap extra moisture. Regular maintenance is required. You will need to reseal your grout occasionally to keep it looking good. With all the water, soap scum and cleaning fluids it will be exposed to, the original grout seal will wear away. How often you use and clean your shower will determine how often you should apply new sealant. Ask us and we can make some recommendations. We also do work on floors. We can clean, buff, polish and seal your floors but we do not guarantee cleaning and sealing. We have found that only you can control how your floors continue to look after we are gone. High traffic areas, the types of cleaners, not cleaning often enough are all reasons your floors will go from clean to dirty. And since we can't control those things, we can't guarantee anything beyond your satisfaction with the way the floors look when we leave. So just tell us what you need done. We will tell you what we can do, what you can expect, and even give you some hints on how to maintain the new and improved look of your bathroom. For 30 days you can call us if you have a concern. Then we will leave it in your hands and trust that you will treat your tile and grout with care, you will handle regular cleaning, and you will do regular maintenance work on your bath/shower. Together we can make sure that your bathroom works well and looks great. |
